is what I am. I vehemently hate hearing, “Everyone else….”. In reference to what I’m wearing, my college schedule, and excuses others make. It sickens me. “Why are you so worried about what you’re wearing to school… everyone wears sweats”. I was unaware my name was “Everyone”. OH wait…. it’s not. I frankly don’t give a flipping flip on what everyone else wears. If I want to look nice, I will look nice, it’s my choice. My schedule, has a four hour gap on one of the five days. Oh how will I survive? Ding-ding-ding, another idea, I’ll read, or do school work, or drive somewhere or grab a bite to eat and read more. Just because your mind isn’t fit for divergent thinking, does not mean I am just as convergent as you. Reading bores you. Well I guess you’re stupid and boring. You need an imagination and a decent mind to enjoy a book.
And then giving the excuse for others, “Well people older than him do it” in reference to an adult who is still playing with his precious fantasy sports thing. Does not justify his immaturity. I’m sick of people that are so close-minded to everything. Of hearing “EVERYONE ELSE BLAH BLAH BLAH.” And I’m screaming inside, wondering how that is supposed to mean something. I’m finding it is my biggest pet peeve.
Realize that I am my own person, I’m not going to do something because everyone else does. Because my happiness and comfort is more important than sating society’s current.
I like wearing dresses to school and skirts and looking presentable each and every day. I feel uncomfortable wearing sweats and a t-shirt. I LIKE my schedule very much. I unlike YOU am an independent person.
If I have to hear that phrase another time, I cannot promise I’ll stay civil.
There’s my rant. Another popular topic on tumblr. I assume there are a great handful of people here who are upset, angry, or annoyed like me.
